On May 13, 2020, Visa and MYDAWA joined forces to revolutionize the way Kenyans access essential medication.

According to MYDAWA Managing Director Tony Wood, the partnership is part of a broader effort to encourage consumers to adopt cashless payments, which can help flatten the curve of COVID-19 infections in the country.

Through this collaboration, customers can order medication online and have it delivered to their doorstep within 4 hours in the Nairobi metropolitan area, with no delivery fees.

For those outside Nairobi, delivery takes place within 24 hours.

Customers can pay using mobile money, credit or debit card, and health insurance for their medication.
