Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has expressed confidence that President Uhuru Kenyatta will now deliver on his pre-election pledges following the ouster of Tanga Tanga members from Senate leadership.
According to Ngunyi, the removal of Tanga Tanga members, led by former Jubilee Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen, will allow the President to focus on his duties without interference.
“GROW UP My FREN Kipchumba Murkomen. You rattled the SYSTEM. And YES, Uhuru Kenyatta will NOW DELIVER. Your CAMP Undermined him from WITHIN then QUOTED the BIBLE to cover your WICKEDNESS. In fact, you BETRAYED Uhuru first through SABOTAGE!” Ngunyi said in a tweet on May 12, 2020.
Earlier, Murkomen had challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver on his promises, stating that if he was the stumbling block in Jubilee, he was no longer there to hinder progress.
However, Ngunyi believes that Murkomen's actions were a betrayal of the President, and that the removal of Tanga Tanga members will allow the President to focus on his duties without interference.
