On May 9, 2020, a violent argument between Vigilance Shighi and Edward Okello in Umoja escalated into a stabbing incident that left the engineer seriously injured.
According to police records, the murder scene at Umoja 2, zone 8 plot no. 5961 ground floor was bloody, with a pool of blood found in the sitting room and a kitchen knife recovered.
Shighi, who is in police custody, is accused of stabbing Okello in the incident.
As reported by the police, 'The team proceeded to the residence at Umoja 2, zone 8 plot no. 5961 ground floor and found a pool of blood on the sitting room and a kitchen knife was recovered.'
