On May 12, 2020, UAP Old Mutual General Business took steps to support its customers during the COVID-19 pandemic by launching new services under its medical cover.

The company has introduced delivery of drugs, tele counseling services, and telemedicine services to help customers adhere to health guidelines and alleviate pressures during this time.

Managing Director General Insurance David Kuria emphasized the importance of maintaining social distance and mental health, stating, "We have all been impacted by the pandemic in one way or another. As a company we realize the importance of maintaining social distance and mental health. These services are aimed at helping our customers adhere to guidelines issued by various health authorities and the Government as well as alleviate the many pressures we are facing during these uncertain times."
