On May 12, 2020, a 14-year-old boy from Kibera, Nairobi, was arrested in connection with the murder of Pamoja Radio presenter Hassan Marjan.
Marjan was killed last week while walking home at around 4am. The incident has left the community in shock.
According to police, the boy was captured on CCTV participating in the killing and subsequent robbery of Marjan.
Another suspect was lynched by a mob hours after the incident.
The boy is set to appear in court today as the hunt for the two suspects continues.
