Tecra Wangari Muigai, a dynamic and creative leader, will be remembered for her passion for Kenya and its people. Born to Joseph Karanja, Chairman of Keroche Breweries, and Tabitha Karanja, Chief Executive Officer of Keroche Breweries, Tecra was a shining star who touched many lives.
On 2 May 2020, Tecra's life was tragically cut short at the Nairobi Hospital. Her untimely death sent shockwaves across the nation, with friends and family mourning the loss of a brilliant and empathetic leader.
As the Strategy and Innovations Director at Keroche Breweries, Tecra was at the prime of her career. Her dedication to her country and its people was evident in her advocacy for equal opportunities for everyone.
