On a fateful Saturday night in Umoja, tragedy struck when Edward Okello, a 33-year-old engineer at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, was stabbed to death by his girlfriend.
According to the police report filed at Buruburu Police Station, Edward had been stabbed on the chest by his girlfriend, Vigilance Shighi, a 29-year-old woman from Taita.
Edward was rushed to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, where he was pronounced dead while undergoing treatment.
As reported by the police, the incident occurred on a Saturday night in Umoja, leaving behind a trail of sorrow and shock.
