Ben Cyco's sister Joy Wairuri, who had been bravely fighting Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, sadly passed away on Sunday morning.
During her treatment, Joy's friends and fans showed her immense love and support, which she deeply appreciated.
On February 19, 2020, Joy penned a heartfelt message to her supporters, expressing her gratitude for their kindness and encouragement.
"You all have been very supportive and very encouraging, and words can't express how much your repost and texting to check up on me means a lot to me," she wrote.
She also acknowledged the impact of their messages, saying, "You all don't know how much tears I shed when you send me long messages trying to give me hope, if you think it doesn’t matter well you should know those are my to go stuff and I am so grateful."
Her message was a testament to the power of kindness and support during difficult times.
