On May 11, 2020, a video of singer Willy Paul driving on a highway with his hands off the steering wheel while sipping coffee went viral on social media.

Instead of using his hands, Willy Paul used his knees to navigate the steering wheel on the busy road, continuing the stunt for 60 seconds.

He then went on to mock his long-time rival in the industry, gospel singer Bahati.

Many Kenyans expressed anger over Willy Paul's carelessness on the road, calling for the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) to suspend his driving license.

Twitter user AbuSakeena (@FauzKhalid) summed up the sentiment, saying, 'This is idiocy pic.twitter.com/0o3obWOhsh.'

Others, like George (@TheRealMakori), called for Willy Paul to be suspended from driving for a long time, saying, 'He should be suspended from driving for a long long time…..'
