As the world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, Nyota Ndogo, a Coast musician, is giving back to the community by helping those in need.
She has been collecting funds from fans and well-wishers to support needy families, and recently shared a photo with an elderly man who has no family.
The elderly man, who has lost his entire family, was overwhelmed with gratitude when Nyota Ndogo visited him and provided him with food and other necessities.
"Thank You so much for your Support and Live Donations," Nyota Ndogo said in a statement. "This was beyond our expectations, and we don’t take this for granted. Am so overwhelmed by your support."
She also shared a heartfelt message, saying, "Huyu mzee hana familia yoyote ndugu zake dada zake baba mama wote wamekufa amebaki yeye kama yeye.tumemkuta anachimba choo Malipo yake anapewa chakula cha siku yani soo sad.alisema kua yeye akipata chakula basi anauwezo wa kujipikia..amefurai sana na akasema Mungu awabariki sana wanaochanga."
Nyota Ndogo is doing this as her ‘sadaka’ during this Ramadhan, joining many other celebrities who have been helping people out during this difficult time.
