On Saturday night, a man's late night party at an apartment along Kiambu Road in Nairobi took a deadly turn when he engaged police in a two-hour shoot out.
According to reports, the police received a tip-off about a house party at Coral Bell apartments in Thindigua and attempted to break it up.
However, the man, whose identity remains undisclosed, opened fire on the police from the window of his house, firing at least 16 times.
Police officers were forced to spend almost two hours trying to disarm the rowdy man, who was reportedly firing a gun from his window.
Although the cause of the incident is yet to be established, investigations are underway.
As reported by the police, 'We had a hard time trying to disarm the rowdy man who reportedly fired at us at least 16 times. When officers arrived, they found a man firing a gun from his window.'
