Ben Cyco's sister Joy Wairuri, a young woman with unshaken faith, lost her battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on Sunday, May 10th, 2020.

Ben Cyco, who had been by her side throughout her illness, took to social media to express his grief and gratitude for the time they had together.

"Joy you fought well. You fought a good fight. I remember when cancer relapsed and I had to break the news to you, we made a promise to each other that we would fight all the way to the end, and you did sis, you fought HARD," Ben Cyco posted on social media.

Ben Cyco's family and friends, as well as those from Joy Wairuri's family at CITAM Valley Road Church, had been rallying together to raise funds for her hospital bill, which was estimated to be around Sh5.3 million for a Bone Marrow Transplant.

Despite their efforts, Joy Wairuri's condition took a turn for the worse, and she passed away, leaving behind a family and friends who are mourning her loss.

From Kiss 100, may Joy rest in peace and to the friends and family of Ben Cyco, our heartfelt message of condolences go to you.
