On May 11, 2020, the Naivasha sub-county hospital witnessed a miracle birth, as Ezekiel Ndegwa and his wife Teresia Wanjira welcomed four beautiful girls, a blessing after the loss of their two children in 2017 and 2018.
The couple's journey was marked by pain, prayers, and counseling as they struggled to come to terms with the loss of their children, who died due to health complications attributed to a rhesus disease.
However, their prayers have now been answered, and they are ready to face the challenges of raising their new quadruplets.
According to Ndegwa, the birth of their four girls is the best gift ever, and they are grateful for the support of their family, friends, and church during their difficult period.
Wanjira, who is a housewife, admitted that it would be an uphill task to bring up the quadruplets and appealed for help from well-wishers.
The superintendent in charge of the hospital, Dr. Angeline Ithondeka, said that the four minors were in great health, apart from one who was under oxygen supply.
Bishop Joseph Wambugu from Bread of New Life Ministries expressed his support for the couple, saying that the births were a blessing after a hard time and that couples with similar challenges should not give up.
