On a somber note, Gor Mahia fans and officials gathered to bid farewell to their beloved driver, Patrick Osewe 'Agwambo', who served the club diligently for eight years.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the burial was attended by a small group of people who adhered to safety measures, a stark contrast to the usual large turnout of fans clad in the club's green and white jerseys.

Assistant coach Patrick Odhiambo and forward Boniface Odhiambo led the club's fraternity in mourning Osewe, who died on May 7, 2020, after a long illness.

Top club officials were unable to attend the burial due to the current ban on traveling in and out of Nairobi.

Osewe is survived by his wife and two children, aged 13 and eight years old.
