On April 29, Love Divine Ike, a vixen who worked with Banky W, Wizkid, Olamide, and Burna Boy, died at an apartment complex in Lagos, Nigeria, where she was a resident of Capital Dreams Pictures, a production company owned by Clarence Peters.

According to reports, Ike was electrocuted while charging her phone, but Peters denied being present at the scene of the incident. He stated that he was in another office on the premises and was not physically present when the incident occurred.

However, the Lagos police spokesperson, Bala Elkana, said that Peters is under investigation and facing a murder charge. Elkana noted that an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of Ike's death and that Peters will be questioned further.

Peters was granted bail alongside four other suspects, and the police are seeking answers into the circumstances surrounding Ike's death. The incident has sparked a public outcry, with many calling for justice for Ike's family.
