The distribution exercise is part of the government's efforts to cushion the effects of the pandemic on vulnerable communities.
As part of the initiative, CS Matiang'i also met with members of the Eastleigh Business Community to discuss collaborative ways of battling COVID-19. He reiterated that the fight against the pandemic must be done by observing the law, following the Ministry of Health's guidelines, and establishing safety nets for the vulnerable.
