Kenyan gospel artiste Size 8 has sparked a conversation about family planning after revealing she would not mind having a third child. However, she expressed her fears about the challenges she faced during her previous pregnancies and deliveries.
Size 8 made the comments in a conversation with her sister Mary Munyali, who had hinted that the rainy season is a popular time for people to conceive.
"Tunataka baby number two ama ni baby number three? Right now is when people are getting babies," Mary Munyali had said, to which Size 8 responded, "Naeza taka mtoto mwingine but si sahi. Unakumbuka ile drama nilipitia?"
Size 8 also revealed that she is on contraceptive, citing her doctor's advice after her previous hospitalization due to high blood pressure.
Her comments come after her husband DJ Mo shared a video of himself babysitting their two children, lamenting how it's not an easy job. He also warned Size 8 against wanting more children, saying, "MAISHA NI KUJIPANGA... ANYWAY PLEASE @SIZE8REBORN DON'T TELL ME TO ADD ANOTHER ONE HAWA WAMETOSHA... NAJUA MTOTO ANAKUJA NA SAHANI ULE BUT FAMILY PLANNING IS VERY IMPORTANT... WANAUME WANAELEWA HAPA #TUJULISHANE."
