Kenyan rapper Simon Kimani, alias Bamboo, has made a shocking claim against Ugandan artiste Jose Chameleone, accusing him of introducing his wife to lucifer.
Speaking in a recent interview on TV 47, Bamboo stated,
‘THERE ARE ALSO AFRICAN ARTISTES WHO HAVE SOLD THEIR SOULS TO THE DEVIL, ONE OF THE FAMOUS ARTISTES IN UGANDA INTRODUCED MY WIFE TO LUCIFER. At the time she was just a soccerer His name is Chameleone. Spiritually he is a high level soccerer.
Chameleone had previously denied claims of being a member of a cult in 2015, calling those who linked him to occult practices as “very stupid and ignorant rumour mongers.”
However, the allegations resurfaced in recent times, particularly after the mysterious death of Chameleone's brother, Emmanuel Mayanja, aka AK47.
According to Bamboo, Chameleone had sacrificed his brother to the cult, which was allegedly linked to a video of Chameleone cutting off one of his fingers and sucking the blood.
Chameleone had denied the claims, stating that the video was an act of magic and not a serious ritual.
He also rubbished the idea of sacrificing his brother for wealth, saying, “Africa is very talented but we have a very ignorant society that is keeping us behind. To be honest with you, how can you sacrifice your brother for wealth?”
Chameleone's wife, Erica Mukisa, had also written about her past life as a 'witch' in her book titled Erica Part One: Seven Years in Hell.
She recalled instances of her grandmother cutting bits of her hair and nails as they slept, and snakes sharing their bed.
Erica had practiced witchcraft alongside her grandmother for seven years before converting to a devout Christian in February 2009.
