Controversy Surrounding Tecra Muigai's Relationship ¶
Reports have emerged that Tecra Muigai's family, the Keroche family, had officially approved her relationship with Omar Lali, despite their significant age difference.
According to Mohamed Ali, Omar's cousin, Tecra's parents had initially been against the union but eventually gave in and let the two be.
Tecra had taken Lali to her parents' home in Naivasha, where they spent a brief period before returning to Lamu, where Tecra would spend months at a time.
It is alleged that Tecra had converted to Islam and even secured a job for Lali's relative in her parents' Keroche Breweries.
Furthermore, Lali had introduced Tecra to his friends and relatives, who had no choice but to accept them.
However, the relationship took a turn for the worse when Tecra died, and Omar Lali was implicated in her death.
Despite the allegations, Omar's cousin, Mohamed Ali, believes that the aging man was innocent and might have been framed.
For Omar Lali's mother, Aisha Mohamed, her son is innocent and might have been framed.
It is now being wondered why Omar Lali is being treated as a criminal, given that the Keroche family was aware of the relationship.
