Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu's life has taken a drastic turn since his ousting from office. According to him, it has been a 'hell on earth' experience.
Waititu's troubles began when the Senate sealed his fate as the county chief of Kiambu following a successful petition from the members of the county assembly, which accused him of mega corruption and inept leadership skills.
Since then, Waititu claims that his close friends, including Deputy President William Ruto, have refused to answer his phone calls and text messages. He has even attempted to meet with them in person, but they have allegedly told him they are busy or will attend to him another day, only to ignore him.
Waititu is left wondering why his friends, who claimed to be at his side through thick and thin, have abandoned him at his hour of need. He is now a lone ranger, seen walking the streets of Nairobi with no one seeming to care about his well-being.
