On May 6, 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son Archie turned one year old, and to celebrate, Meghan shared a heartwarming video of her reading to him. The adorable clip, captured by Prince Harry behind the camera, was shared on the Save the Children Instagram page in support of the charity's Save with Stories campaign.

During the video, Archie can be seen laughing and getting distracted by his other books, with his proud parents giggling in the background. The video was shared with the caption: 'Duck! Rabbit!' with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex (and Harry, The Duke of Sussex behind the camera), read to their son Archie for his 1st birthday. Happy Birthday, Archie! Thank you #DuchessMeghan for helping us to raise urgent funds for our coronavirus appeal by reading Duck! Rabbit.'

Archie's first year has been filled with significant events, including his parents' decision to step back from the royal family and their move to Canada and later to Los Angeles. Despite being seventh in line to the throne, Archie does not have a HRH title and is not a prince, unlike his cousins George, Charlotte, and Louis.

The Sussex family will be celebrating Archie's first birthday at their new American home, with a low-key affair due to the coronavirus lockdown in California. A royal source stated: 'It will be just the three of them. Meghan understandably refuses to take any risks with guests or travel.'

Archie's birth on May 6, 2019, at a private London hospital, was a significant event, with his dad Prince Harry popping outside Windsor Castle to share the happy news. The couple initially wanted to keep details of the birth private, but they were released on his birth certificate, which listed Meghan's job title as 'Princess of the United Kingdom.'
