On her IGTV, media personality Betty Kyallo shared her thoughts on marriage and relationships in a two-part Q&A series with her sister Gloria. The conversation was a candid look into her life, particularly her marriage to Dennis Okari.

When asked about her biggest regret, Betty revealed that getting married at 26 was a decision she now wishes she had taken more time to consider. 'I think it was getting married a bit too young because I was 26,' she said. 'This is for me as Betty. At 26 I don’t think I had really seen my full potential or like I hadn’t lived life, I hadn’t seen or explored life by myself and I think that’s it.'

She emphasized the importance of self-discovery before entering into a lifelong commitment. 'Maybe right now, or 2 years from now it doesn’t matter when I’ll feel ready. I should have chilled nilikuwa na mbio but this is for me, if you want to get married at 26, just do you. For me I think now I’m more mature, I more in touch with myself, I know who I am it makes it easy for me to let in somebody because i know myself.'

Interestingly, Betty also revealed that after her divorce, she was not open to the idea of marriage for a long time. However, she has since warmed up to the idea and is now considering it again, partly because she wants to give her daughter Ivanna a sibling.

From the IGTV videos, it's clear that Betty is in a happy place of self-discovery and understanding, having gone through a lot in her life.
