Published on May 7, 2020, Diana Marua, wife of gospel singer Bahati, has addressed rumors surrounding her relationship with footballer Victor Wanyama.
During a recent YouTube Q&A session, Marua revealed that she and Wanyama have never been in a romantic relationship.
According to Marua, the two met through a mutual friend at a party, and their interaction was limited to taking selfies and group photos.
Marua explained, "Guys, I met Victor through a mutual friend, and we happened to hang out. So, that translated to us taking selfies and group photos, and Kenyans on Twitter chose not to pick the group photo but highlighted the selfie photo instead."
Marua emphasized that she and Wanyama have never dated and that she has never considered the possibility of a romantic relationship with him.
Marua also shared some personal details about her past, revealing that she used to be a wild party girl before settling down with Bahati.
She shared, "I was a party girl, I made sure to have a drink in my hand when we were taking photos. I partied a lot, and for those people who knew me and we partied together know that I was wild."
