May 6, 2020, will be remembered as the day Diana Marua finally put an end to the rumors surrounding her alleged family. The wife of singer Bahati had been trending for all the wrong reasons, with many fans throwing insults at her and her husband.
Just two weeks ago, Diana was accused of having a son, daughter, and husband, which she allegedly abandoned after meeting Bahati. The rumors were fueled by a photo shared on social media, which was later revealed to be from a Nivea shoot she was featured in around 2015.
However, it seems that some fans were not convinced by the explanation. One fan asked Diana if she had ever been married before, to which she responded, 'Before I met Bahati, I used to be a model. I played the role of a mother in a family set up for Nivea. It was a project which ran for the whole year, which means it would appear on Fathers day or mothers day with the kids included. This translated to people thinking I was married before. I have never been married nor had kids but I don’t mind being called mummy.'
With the truth finally out, fans on social media can now stop trolling Diana for her alleged family. And as if to drive the point home, Diana is not old enough to be Bahati's mother, making the rumors even more absurd.
