On Tuesday, a car caught fire in Buruburu, Nairobi, claiming the life of Terrence Korir. An autopsy conducted at Chiromo mortuary on May 6, 2020, has shed light on the circumstances surrounding his death.

According to the autopsy results, soot was found in Korir's lungs and respiratory organs, indicating that he inhaled it as he died. This finding has ruled out suspicion that he was placed in the car and set on fire.

Police are now investigating whether Korir's death was a case of arson or suicide. The family of the man, who worked for a local bank, has demanded a thorough investigation into the incident.

His wife was at home when the fire started and joined other locals in trying to contain the blaze, but unfortunately, it was too late.
