On May 6, 2020, rumors spread that Citizen TV news anchor Willis Raburu had cheated on his wife, Marya Prude, with a Rwandese woman named Mivanoella.
Mivanoella, a social media influencer, quickly denied the allegations, stating that the rumors were baseless and untrue.
Willis Raburu later addressed the rumors indirectly by sharing a meme on social media, suggesting that family issues should remain private.
However, the rumors may have been sparked by a more serious issue: the loss of the couple's baby, Adamma, on New Year's Day in 2020.
Since then, Marya Prude has been dealing with the loss, deactivating her Instagram account and deleting all her photos.
