The Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) is considering submissions in the ongoing Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections dispute, which has seen the federation taken to task over a letter to Fifa.

FKF's letter to Fifa, dated March 18, 2020, has been cited as an example of contempt of the SDT's ruling that confirmed the term of office of FKF's National Executive Committee was at an end.
Lawyer Nelson Odongo argued that the letter was in utter contempt of the SDT's verdict, while journalist Milton Nyakundi suggested that the letter may have been written in misinformation about the SDT's status as the National Sports Arbitration body in Kenya.
FKF's lawyer, Victor Omwebu, dismissed calls for the formation of a Normalisation Committee, saying the matter had been conclusively adjudicated and the SDT had found no fault with FKF.
However, the SDT has offered to convene a round table meeting with the parties to find a solution to the impasse.
