As the English Premier League prepares to resume after the coronavirus lockdown, a proposal has been put forward to broadcast some of the remaining matches for free on YouTube.
According to reports, the plan is to complete the current league season in seven weeks, with an average of nine rounds of matches left for each of the 20 teams.
With games to be played behind closed doors, no two matches will be played simultaneously to allow maximum TV coverage.
Kenyan football fans, who currently have to pay to watch their favourite teams and players via satellite channel SuperSport, may soon be able to enjoy live EPL matches for free on YouTube.
The last time the Premier League showed matches for free was on the opening day of the 2013/14 season.
