On May 5, 2020, Health Cabinet Secretary CS Mutahi Kagwe sounded the alarm on a growing Covid-19 hotspot in Nairobi's Eastleigh area.
According to Kagwe, community spread of the virus had been identified in three key areas: Eastleigh, Kawangware, and Old Town Mombasa.
He emphasized the need for serious action in these areas to contain the spread of the virus.
A video shared by CS Kagwe highlighted the severity of the situation in Eastleigh.
