Love knows no boundaries

Love is a universal language that transcends age, status, and wealth. It knows no boundaries, and it's a fact that the world is still trying to come to terms with.

Take the case of Tecra Muigai, the young daughter of Keroche Breweries CEO and Chairman, Tabitha and Joseph Karanja. Her untimely demise has sparked a heated debate about her relationship with a man considered to be much older and less affluent than her.

But Akothee's sister, Cebbie Nyasego, has fired back at Tecra's trolls, urging them to respect people's choices and not judge others based on societal norms.

Ms Nyasego took to social media to express her sentiments, saying:

A debate is raging about how she, of a high social class went out with a man who many people have labelled a beach boy (Sharobaro). In Nairobi, he would be called a chokoraa.

She went on to say that nothing about Tecra's relationship seemed unusual, especially in today's age and time.

Ms Nyasego urged people to stop trying to understand the contradictions of love and emotions, and to let Tecra's soul rest peacefully.

She closed off by sending her condolences to Tecra Muigai's family and loved ones, saying:

Tecra Muigai was still very young. She didn't deserve to die. My condolences to the family and loved ones. May her soul rest in peace, may they find strength.
