On May 4, 2020, Elon Musk's girlfriend, Grimes, gave birth to their first child together, a momentous occasion that the outspoken Tesla CEO shared with his fans on Twitter.
Musk, 48, has been dating the musician Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, since 2018. The couple made waves in the music and business worlds with their first public appearance together at the Met Gala in 2018, where Grimes wore a choker shaped like the Tesla logo to demonstrate their relationship status.
Grimes, 32, announced her pregnancy in January 2020 on Instagram, sharing a topless photo of herself with a baby bump and writing in the caption that 'being knocked up is a very feral & war-like state of being.'
Four hours after fans began asking Musk for updates on his child, he replied that the birth was just 'a few hours away!' and later announced, 'Mom & baby all good.'
This is Grimes' first child, while Musk already has five sons. He has been divorced three times — twice from the same woman.
