On April 27, 2020, StarTimes Kenya unveiled an innovative online shopping platform called StarTimes GO, designed to provide customers with a seamless and convenient shopping experience.
The platform, available through the StarTimes ON app and 15-minute programs on Rembo, Border, and Tripple P channels, allows customers to browse, select, and pay for various products using electronic wallet options such as Co-operative, KCB bank, Equitel, Mpesa, or Airtel money.
Speaking about the new development, StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga emphasized the company's focus on customer convenience and satisfaction.
"This is a strategic new line of business for us in our effort to enable customers to access products conveniently across Kenya. StarTimes Go is our innovative solution aimed at making it possible to shop securely through our StarTimes ON online platform as well as sales broadcasts on Rembo, Border, and Tripple P channels," noted Mr. Nsubuga.
Initially, the platform will enable customers to purchase smart equipment, including television sets, solar power systems, and set-top boxes, with plans to expand product categories in the future.
