21 Youths Arrested in Nakuru for Shooting Pornographic Material

On Wednesday, police in Nakuru rounded up 21 youths from a house where they were allegedly producing pornographic material.

The group, consisting of 8 boys and 13 girls, were members of a WhatsApp group disguised as a talent search group.

According to reports, the group was found holed up at a golf club within Milimani Estate in Nakuru, where they were taking pictures without observing public health guidelines on preventing Covid-19.

Police are also investigating claims that a German national was behind the pornographic photos, which were destined for the foreign market.

Nakuru Town West Deputy County Commissioner Elmi Shaffi stated that the administration received information from the management of Nakuru Golf Club about the youth's activities.

During the arrest, police recovered a DSLR camera containing some pornographic photos and videos.

The youths have since been moved to KMTC Nakuru, where they will be put under a forced quarantine for the next 14 days.
