Twitter has been testing a new feature that makes it easier to find quoted tweets, a move that could spell the end for bots like QuotedReplies.

Since 2015, Twitter has allowed users to add comments to their tweets, known as quoted tweets. However, this feature has been limited, and users have had to rely on third-party solutions to find all the quoted replies to a particular tweet.

One such solution is the QuotedReplies bot, which has gained over 40 million impressions monthly. The bot allows users to tag it in a tweet, and it will reply with a link to all the quoted replies.

However, Twitter is now testing a new feature that will make it easier for users to find quoted tweets. The feature, called 'Retweets with comments,' is currently being tested on a select few users.

According to reports, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was introduced to the developer behind QuotedReplies, Dara Oladosu, during his tour of Africa last year. Oladosu was reportedly offered a job on the spot.

With the new feature, users will be able to see all the quoted replies to a tweet in one place, making it easier to follow conversations. This could potentially replace the need for bots like QuotedReplies.

Twitter has not announced when the feature will be rolled out, but it is expected to make it easier for users to find quoted tweets.
