On April 23, 2020, Kamene Goro shared her story of how she met her colleague Andrew Kibe on the breakfast show.
According to Goro, she joined Tinder after her marriage ended and she was trying to adjust to life in Nairobi.
She revealed that she matched with seven guys on the app but only went on a date with one, who turned out to be a mismatch.
However, her next match was with Kibe, whom she swiped right on after watching his videos.
'I wanted to find out who this guy is from his videos,' Goro said.
She gave Kibe her number, and they started talking, eventually becoming excellent workmates at Kiss FM.
Kibe referred to his first impression of Goro as an 'upgrade,' saying, 'This is the day to upgrade. The Lord amenionekania. Today you have an upgrade and you will start eating in Karen.'
Despite never dating, the two have a strong working relationship.
