Published on April 23, 2020, gospel singer Kevin Bahati, popularly known as Bahati, has responded to Khaligraph's lyrics that saw him dominate social media hot topics.
His latest song, 'Hao', addresses the issue of social media trolls and the pressure of being a celebrity in Kenya.
However, Khaligraph's lyrics have sparked a heated debate, with some people referring to Bahati as 'mtoto wa mama' while others call him 'mtoto wa Diana', his wife Diana Marua's firstborn.
"Kuwa celebrity ni garama juu wakishakujua ni lawama, Bahati akianza alikuwa mtoto wa mama sahii twitter amegeuziwa yeye ni mtoto wa Diana hakuna huruma siri ni kulenga tu," the OG sings.
But Bahati has now taken to social media to express his love for being addressed as 'Mtoto wa Diana', saying "Bahati Akianza Alikua Mtoto Wa Mama • Sahiiii Ni Mtoto Wa Diana and I'm Loving it".
His wife, Diana Marua, also broke her silence regarding the matter, saying "Mtoto Waaaannngggguuuuu ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just love how we stop Reggae 😂😂😂 Love you Baby @bahatikenya".
