Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has been making waves with his latest song Hao, featuring Masauti, which has left many in the entertainment industry talking.
According to the song, being a celebrity in Kenya comes with its fair share of challenges, with people willing to do anything to bring you down.
Khali, as he is affectionately known, mentions a few names of people who have been victims of online trolls, including comedian Mulamwah, who had to quit his career due to the constant harassment.
However, it was his mention of Bahati and his wife Diana that really got people talking. Khali rapped, 'When Bahati started, he was known as a mother's child but now KOT has made him Diana's child. There is no mercy.'
Bahati, known for his laid-back nature, decided to respond to the trolling, saying he loves being mtoto wa Diana. He even went as far as posting a picture of himself and his wife, captioning it 'Bahati Akianza Alikua Mtoto Wa Mama • SahiI Ni Mtoto Wa Diana and I'm Loving it.'
His wife, Diana, also showed her support, saying, 'Mtoto Waaaannngggguuuuu ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just love how we stop Reggae 😂😂😂 Love you Baby @bahatikenya 😘.'
It seems like Bahati and his wife have taken the high road, choosing to ignore the trolls and show them that their comments don't affect them.
