Published on April 23, 2020, Ethic's music video for the song 'Soko' was pulled down by the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) due to immoral content.

The KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua stated that Ethic's song promoted paedophilia culture.

However, Ethic later apologized and promised to release meaningful songs.

"WE OWE AN APOLOGY TO OUR FANS WHO HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT SUPPORTIVE THROUGHOUT OUR JOURNEY. IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT OUR RECENTLY RELEASED SOKO VIDEO HAS UNINTENTIONALLY PROMOTED PAEDOPHILIC CULTURE. WE ARE THEREFORE SENDING OUT SINCERE APOLOGIES TO ALL OUR FANS AND VIEWERS AT LARGE," Ethic stated in a statement.

But Miracle Baby, the lead vocalist of Sailors group, was not satisfied with Ethic's apology. On his Instagram page, he shamed Ethic for glorifying rape.

"Siwezi kimya mumechoma😳 Rape haifai ku glorifiwa. SHAME ON YOU 🙄 #PeterMiracleBaby," Miracle Baby wrote.
