The Queen celebrated her 94th birthday in style, despite the coronavirus lockdown, with a video call from Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their son Archie.

As the monarch self-isolated at Windsor Castle with her husband Prince Philip, the Sussex family made sure to reach out and wish her a happy birthday.

According to reports, aides had been organizing a big family Zoom call to catch up on the special day, but it seems the Sussex family decided to make it a more intimate affair.

It's not the first time Harry has celebrated the Queen's birthday with her, having joined the rest of the Royal Family at an Easter church service in Windsor last year.

However, this year's celebrations were a bit different, with the traditional gun salute cancelled due to Covid-19.

Just last week, Harry and Meghan were spotted in LA, handing out food parcels to vulnerable people who are self-isolating due to coronavirus.

They wore face masks and gloves as they dropped off packages on behalf of the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Project Angel Food.

One of the recipients, Daniel Tyrell, 53, who has HIV and issues with high blood pressure, revealed the kind words the couple said before handing over the food.

‘My phone rang and a lady said, “Hi this is Meghan from Project Angel Food.” I said, “Oh, do you want to meet me downstairs?” I didn’t realise it was THE Meghan at this point.

‘So I walked down the external staircase and I saw the two black SUVs on the road outside so I knew there was something going on. I went down to the front door to let them in.

‘I recognised him first because of his reddish hair. Then I looked at her and put it together. Harry didn’t introduce himself or anything.

‘They both said here’s the food and thank you, hope you’re well and that you’re fine. They handed the food over and I said thank you, too.

‘I didn’t let on about it, I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable or anything.'
