On April 19, 2020, residents of Rachuonyo East Sub County in Homa Bay County reported being attacked by guards from Catchspy Links, a security firm associated with Pastor Moses Omollo of Prophet David Owuor's Repentance and Holiness Ministry in Nyabende, Homa Bay County.

The guards, who claimed to be police officers, allegedly assaulted several residents, including Felix Okello Napa, 31, who was digging in his farm when the guards arrested him and took him to Pastor Omollo's home, where he was further attacked.

Mr. Napa reported that the guards hit him with clubs and cut his fingers with a knife, and he was later treated at Othoro dispensary before being referred to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu.

Police Commander Charles Barasa said that the firm's guards are not allowed to implement government directives and that action will be taken if the firm is found culpable.

Mr. Barasa also reported that Pastor Omollo had filed a complaint about stolen chicken, but the police are investigating two cases: the alleged theft of the chicken and the attack on Mr. Napa.
