On April 22, 2020, Zari Hassan took to social media to address critics who accuse her of living a fake life.

She pointed out that the coronavirus pandemic has exposed the 'slay queens' who used to put pressure on others with their fake lifestyles.

"Hotels are closed and now we miss some slay queens. Aren't you allowed to take pictures of your houses? Then they used to say Zari fakes her life. See your Life. God bless you too. Me I'm already blessed," Zari posted, accompanied by a picture of her house.

Her post was a response to critics who had called her out for posting a picture of her and her daughter participating in the pillow challenge the previous week.

"Ps, I don't live a life of pretense. Lastly don't tell people how to use their money, you don't make it for them," Zari answered one troll.

She has always been ready to clap back at her critics and prove them wrong.
