The Kwale County government has taken proactive measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic by launching a food aid distribution program.

According to reports, the program has been initiated to support residents in all 20 wards of the county, with a total budget of KES 450 million.

As of the 22nd April 2020, the program had been rolled out, aiming to provide essential food supplies to those in need.
