On April 22, 2020, Eko Dydda's wife sent out a plea for justice after his illegal arrest, sparking a wave of concern among his fans and supporters.

Just hours later, Eko Dydda was being interviewed live on Citizen TV News by Waihiga Mwaura, who was trying to find out how he was faring under forced quarantine at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

During the interview, Eko Dydda revealed that he and other individuals who were under quarantine at KMTC had been moved back to their original stations, with him currently being held at the Kilimani police station.

When asked if there was anything he would have done differently if given the chance, Eko Dydda responded, 'If I would go back in time I don’t know what I would do differently probably I would have walked home. Things happen and you can’t plan for that. I hadn’t planned for my wife to have an attack that time.'

However, the interview was cut short when a voice in the background shouted, 'Eko dydda leta hiyo simu!' (Eko Dydda, hand over the phone!), and Eko Dydda was forced to surrender the phone.

The incident has raised concerns about the treatment of Eko Dydda and other individuals who are being held under quarantine, and his wife's plea for justice has sparked a wave of support among his fans and supporters.
