As the UK remains under lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tottenham Hotspur players are facing disciplinary action for flouting social distancing guidelines.

On April 21, 2020, Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier posted a video on Instagram of himself training with teammate Moussa Sissoko, disregarding the current social distancing advice.

The video, which has since been deleted, showed Aurier running shuttles and sitting next to France midfielder Sissoko, who was not wearing a mask.

This is not the first time Tottenham players have been accused of violating social distancing guidelines. Just two weeks prior, manager Jose Mourinho was pictured holding a one-on-one training session with French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele in north London.

Mourinho was forced to admit his mistake, saying his "actions were not in line with government protocol".

Tottenham has since announced that they will be speaking to both Aurier and Sissoko regarding their actions.
