On April 21, 2020, Credit Bank PLC made a significant contribution to the fight against COVID-19 by donating Shs. 3 million to the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.

The fund, established by the President, aims to support the government's efforts in providing medical facilities, equipment, and basic needs to vulnerable communities.

Credit Bank PLC's CEO, Betty Korir, emphasized the importance of the private sector's role in safeguarding economies, livelihoods, and health needs during this crisis.

"The COVID-19 pandemic is primarily a health crisis and a human tragedy, but it also has far-reaching economic disruptions," Korir said.

As part of its efforts to support the government's initiatives, Credit Bank PLC has also launched a Clearing Solution for its corporate clients, enabling them to bank cheques at their own premises and meet their banking needs on demand.

The solution allows clients to achieve higher Straight-Through-Processing, real-time visibility, and higher levels of efficiency from payment initiation through to back-end processing.
