Italy has the second-highest death toll at 24,114, while Spain has the second-highest number of cases with 200,210.
The virus has spread to 185 countries and regions since its emergence in Wuhan, China in December.
Despite the rising number of cases, most people who contract the virus experience mild symptoms before recovering.
In Kenya, there have been 270 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 14 deaths and 67 recoveries, according to Johns Hopkins University.
