Kenyan gospel music has been abuzz with news of Weezdom's decision to leave the industry, a move that has left fans and fellow artists stunned.
Responding to the news, gospel singer Bahati expressed his shock, stating that he wishes Weezdom well in his new endeavors.
“Yo My G @WEEZDOM254 Quitting Gospel Music and Choosing to be Off the Music is One of the things that Shocked me Bro! But I Understand Men make Decisions and as You take on your New Endeavors May God Lead & Guide you. Remember Our #Motto FAILING AIN’T AN OPTION #Blessings #EndofEMBRecordLabel,” said Bahati.
According to Bahati, he was forced to close his record label, EMB, due to the backlash from fellow gospel artistes, a move that came just a day before Weezdom's announcement.
Weezdom had revealed that he is no longer a gospel artist, citing his desire for peace and an end to the 'vita' and 'chuki' of the Kenyan gospel industry.
