On August 1, 2009, Apollo Kiugi married his beautiful bride Jacinta, and their dream of having a houseful of children seemed within reach. However, as the years went by, they struggled with infertility, and their hopes of becoming parents began to dwindle.
As they approached their third year of marriage, they decided to seek medical attention, hoping to find a solution to their problem. The doctor's report revealed that Kiugi's sperm count was low, and they were advised to consider adoption.
But Kiugi was determined to find a natural solution. He enrolled in a Master's degree program in development studies, hoping to shift his focus away from his infertility issues. However, the humiliation and ridicule he faced from his friends and family made it difficult for him to open up about his struggles.
It wasn't until their eighth year of marriage that Jacinta became pregnant with their daughter Victoria, who was born on April 30, 2017. Kiugi attributes their miracle child to a combination of his decision to stop worrying about his sperm count and God's intervention.
Today, Kiugi and his family are grateful for the little miracle that has brought them joy and fulfillment. As he looks back on their journey, he hopes that his story will inspire others who may be going through similar struggles.
