On April 21, 2020, Kenya confirmed 11 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 281, with two more deaths reported.

The new patients range in age from 11 to 80 years old, with seven cases from Mombasa county and three from Kiambu county, along with one foreigner.

According to the Health Cabinet Secretary, all the new COVID-19 patients have no history of travel, with five cases from government quarantine units and the rest identified by the government surveillance team.

Meanwhile, two coronavirus patients, including a doctor, have recovered from the disease, bringing the total recovery to 69.

However, controversy has emerged surrounding a driver who allegedly tested positive after transporting passengers from Nairobi to Homa Bay County with an empty coffin.

Footage has emerged on social media showing the alleged driver disputing the government's claim that he contracted the virus, and questioning the treatment he received in quarantine.
