Kenyan smartphone enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the launch of the Tecno Camon 15 Air and Camon 15 Premier, and their wait is almost over. The two devices are set to hit the Kenyan market soon, two months after their global announcement.
According to Tecno, the Tecno Camon 15 Air will retail at Kshs 16,000, while the Tecno Camon 15 Premier will go for Kshs 27,000. The Tecno Camon 15, which is already available for purchase locally, will be priced at Kshs 18,000.
The Tecno Camon 15 Premier boasts a 64-megapixel main image sensor, making it the first-ever smartphone in Africa to come equipped with Sony's 64 MP, smart chip-backed camera lens. The device also features a pop-up selfie camera, setting it apart from its counterparts.
On the other hand, the Tecno Camon 15 Air is the most affordable of the three devices, with a price that reflects its specifications. The device features an 8-megapixel selfie camera and 4GB of memory, making it an attractive option for those on a budget.
When the Tecno Camon 15 Air and Camon 15 Premier become available, they will be up for purchase through select retail outlets as well as online through Jumia Kenya and the Transsion Group's own e-commerce platform, Xpark.
